Thought of the week: "Be thankful"
This week has just been awesome so far! Yet again, I was able to lead the intramural soccer program. Whenever I play soccer, it really reminds me of my childhood in Germany. Every day after school, my friends and I used to go out and play soccer until it got dark. Nevertheless, I have to admit that I am a little rusty when it comes to playing again. That did not stop me from helping my team to the win, though!
I had three exams and one proposal due this week. It goes without saying that I tried to focus on my academics and studying. While most of my exams went well, I may or may not have bombed my anthropology exam ... #thestruggleisreal

On Friday, I was invited to the PBB Transitional Meeting again. The UC branch campuses are also transitioning to a permanent budget model which has been applied to all the uptown colleges previously. As the voice of the student body within that committee, I was not afraid to voice my honest opinion, as well. I believe that the mission of education has been partially compromised at UC in order to benefit big infrastructure and quick profits. As a student leader, I have made it my mission to fight education inequity - especially here at the University of Cincinnati!
