Thought of the week: "Do not take life too seriously"
Another stressful week is in the books. With the semester winding down, I have to take care of next semester's schedule and my many other responsibilities. Trying to study for my CLEP exams, my RA responsbilities, my Sustainability Club and my Ambassador responsibilities may sound like a lot, but it is very fulfilling work.

On Thursday, I participated in the Homecoming Pep Rally that Josh organized. We had many fun stations for students to engage in, including music, games and an Army workout challenge. Of course, I had to participate, as well.

For the Army challenge, I had one minute for each exercise to complete as many reps as possible. The first exercise, was deadlifts, followed by push-ups, followed by Kettle bell snatches and Iron Mikes. While I did break some records, I was really gassed in the end ... no breakfast + intense workout = not so good idea!

My highlight of this week is my weekend trip with the University of Cincinnati Mountaineering Club. We are going high-pointing and backpacking in Mark Twain National Forest, Missouri. Being outside with friends always gives me the chance to relax most effectively. It calms me down like nothing else, so I cannot wait to be out in nature all weekend!
